The busy and changing work patterns of staff mean that traditional classroom-based courses are mostly impractical and not always cost effective. However, technology now offers exciting new opportunities for the way we live our lives, including the way we learn languages.

Independent study programmes offer greater flexibility and advantages so that learners can study at their own pace and when and where they want. Such programmes have historically been useful for improving vocabulary, grammar and listening skills. They have however been less effective at improving a learner’s speaking skills. That is until now!

Peregrine Academy is able to offer an internet-based, Online English language assessment and training solution., which is designed to enable aviation staff to meet the ICAO language proficiency requirements through independent study.

All of the exercises and reference material in our programme are aviation-related and this helps to maintain a high level of student motivation.

Throughout the training programme, students can choose to receive clues, check their answers or see the correct answers at any time. This means the student is in full control.

In addition the Academy can provide General English Language Training for students who want to establish a general language proficiency. These courses are conducted in collaboration with our partners and are classroom based in the UK and are designed to take students up to an ICAO level 4 proficiency, the level sought within the aviation industry. Aviation specific modules can be incorporated within the General English training as either classroom based or utilising the online training system. The Air Traffic Management School is equipped with the latest simulators for Aerodrome, Procedural and Surveillance ATC training. The simulators are specially designed and developed to provide realistic training and to reduce the time needed for on-the-job training. The simulator exercises are run not only by professional support staff but also from a pool of experienced pilots to create a simulation that is as realistic as possible. We provide a full range of Air traffic Control training courses as well as aviation English training if required.

Our Airport Operations, Airport Management and Airport Planning training courses are suitable for any airport worldwide that is handling commercial traffic.  We offer both basic operational training such as airside safety and bird hazard management and more specialist management courses such as managing and predicting demand and airport commercial revenue.  You are able to mould the airport operations training modules to exactly meet your needs as they can either be taken as standalone modules or as part of a broader operational or management package.

Being part of the Peregrine Academy enables the Flight Operations Training School to use new generation aviation learning techniques utilising expertise from other areas of Commercial Aviation to aid learning and build experience during cabin crew training. Our relationship with BCFT (Bournemouth Commercial Flight Training Centre) allows Peregrine Academy to provide high quality simulator training where required.

Our Commercial Flight Operations and Cabin Crew Training are provided by experienced instructors. They are all experts in their respective fields, qualified by the relevant aviation authorities, many of which being fully operational Pilots and crew with major UK Airlines. The Peregrine Academy style of training means they are always on hand to help all students get the maximum learning experience. We offer a full range of cabin crew training modules starting with our exciting new Foundation Course.
